Kvann’s vision is to “open the world”. To allow isolated communities and places
to advertise their unique identity and character through products that are vital
to them on a daily basis.

Offers of cultural authentic herbs, plants and products from Greenland as well
as the Arctic, is not only rarely seen before, but relevant and meaningful.
Today, like never before, Greenland and the Arctic is the centre of attention and
heavily focused on among ordinary people, politicians and NGO’s.

The signs of change in our climate have a tremendous impact especially on the
environment surrounding Greenland. Unfortunately, many of these effects will
make life more difficult for the locals as their natural habitats for hunting, fishing
and farming shrink until ultimately they disappear.But with the onset of higher
temperatures in the climate, new opportunities arise which will allow the farmers
and hunters to seek out and utilize new treasures from their unspoiled nature.
